Denim cut offs

Okay ... My obsession with denim shorts is becoming very unhealthy & detrimental to my bank account!
They say that ‘confession’ is the first stage to the road of recovery right?  ....Yes, about that. I thought about it and it’s not happening!!

This summer,  I've played around with distressed, drop crotch, frayed ends and all coloured denim. My fave look is pairing loose fitted denim with heels (of-course) & a sweater.
My one stop shop for denim is One Teaspoon. I’m thankful to say my OT collection is slowly growing.
Wishlist:

2. CLASSIC SUPERFREAK OVERALL   I know these aren't denim shorts per se , however they do fit into the denim criteria . And they are simply irresistible!
3. LOVERS

I managed to pick these beauties up from a boutique whilst strolling the streets of Phi Phi Island one morning. The pockets hang quite low & they have studded detail along the back & front pockets. You can easily head to Spotlight and do a little DIY project if you are unable to find anything similar online
Thanks for reading lovelies!!

Beach Cover Ups

Bikini Cover ups are a summer essential. Whether you are sipping cocktails poolside or frolicking at the beach after a swim - throwing on a cover up is the easiest way to wander around without having to get your proper clothes soaking wet. Here are some kimono & kaftan's that I adore...

Pastel Coat

Pastel coats are going to be a HUGE trend for fall!!

I have been noticing them on the Runway and have seen them available to purchase on UK websites.
With the rest of the world enduring the middle of winter, I had to make an international purchase because absolutely no coats are available in our stores yet - being the middle of summer in Australia (I sure as hell was not waiting for cooler months ahead).
Fortunately, Melbourne weather is a little temperamental so thankfully I have had the chance to wear it. #coatsinsummer

My patience was clearly demonstrated when we had a heat wave for an ENTIRE week as soon as I received my coat - nevertheless I kept trying it on and was craving a cool change!

These coats are available in all the pastel colours, but pink was my choice - although blue was a close second.

I purchased my 'Vintage Cocoon Coat' via ASOS. It is cosy, furry and a gorgeous 3/4 length

WAYS TO WEAR THE LOOK :

GIRLED UP
Pink makes the ultimate girly statement in a crowd of long black coats!
- pair it up with a skirt & some lace up heels
- stripe pencil skirt & a white turtle neck
- matching bottoms & top
- a dress with some killer heels to show off some leg.

DRESSED DOWN
- boyfriend jeans, baggy tee or a slouchy sweater
- black leather trouser, jumper & sneakers (sports luxe-ing it)

Tag me in your looks!

Distressed Denim

The more distressed, baggy, low crotched they are - the better.

I often buy baggies and "accidentally on purpose" add to the distressed effect by tearing the already existing holes with my foot ... haha!

You can either buy some of these distressed boyfriend jeans already pre-made or just grab some old jeans, slash them with a razor and use a pumice stone (which can be purchased from any beauty/convenience store) to help destroy them.

Distressed boyfriend jeans are one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe, simply because they are so versatile. They can be worn as an everyday casual look, or I love adding some feminine heels to the equation to balance the outfit.
Try to avoid wearing high top closed boots, otherwise you can run the risk of looking like Woody from Toy Story.

I have found the perfect distressed denim piece for you ladies, they are from Cotton On (www.cottonon.com.au)..and they are only $49.95. The good news is, they look IDENTICAL to the ones with hefty price tags. I assure you, they are great quality and supply a range of colours - from white to darker blue.
I would recommend going a size up what you normally would purchase to add to the loose-fitted apperance.

Just a warninng for the ladies who are going to purchase some awesome baggies, be prepared for that one conservative random who WILL stop you in the street and say: " I'm not sure if you know this, but your jeans are all torn up. Cant you afford a new pair of jeans?" ... Oh wow! Thanks Lady! I didnt realise that slight breeze coming through my pants and I must be completely visually impared too. Thanks for pointing that out... Ohhh that same lame joke...it kills me every time!!!

Happy shopping my loves!!
